Pricing & billing

What does $25 actually cover?+

Your first month — 50% off the regular Starter rate of $50/mo. It covers hosting, SSL, backups, ongoing edits, and the time we spent building and shipping your site. From month two onward, billing continues at $50/mo (Starter) or $99/mo (Growth).

How does the first-month discount work?+

Half off your tier’s monthly rate, applied to the first billing cycle. Starter is $25 today (instead of $50), Growth is $49.50 today (instead of $99). Stripe applies the coupon automatically at checkout. From month two onward, the regular monthly rate kicks in.

When does the regular monthly billing start?+

One month from your launch date. Stripe handles the renewal automatically and emails you the receipt. No surprises — the rate is the same one shown on the pricing page.

Are there setup fees besides the $25?+

No. The $25 you pay today IS your first month, half-priced. There is no separate launch fee on top. The only ongoing cost is your tier’s monthly rate; edits, small additions, and ongoing maintenance are bundled in.

Can I switch tiers?+

Yes. Move from Starter → Growth → Pro any time. We prorate the change so you never pay twice for the same days.

Refunds?+

We don’t do mid-month refunds, but you can cancel any time and stop the next charge. The site comes down at the end of the period you’ve already paid for. If something is genuinely wrong with what we shipped, see the refund policy — there’s a 7-day satisfaction window on your first month.

How tailored is "tailored"?

Is my site really custom, or just a re-skinned template?+

It's really custom. Every site is built around your industry, audience, brand colors, voice, and pages. We don't share themes between customers — the samples on this site are inspiration only, not templates we apply.

Will my site look like the samples?+

Only if you ask it to. The nine samples we built are nine different visual directions chosen to show variety. Most customers' sites look nothing like any of them.

Can I be fully unique even if I pick a sample as inspiration?+

Yes. The sample is a jumping-off point — your colors, your photos, your voice, your specific industry are all applied on top. Two customers picking the same sample will get two very different finished sites.

Do you do anything with my brand assets?+

We use them on your site only. We don't resell, share, or train anything on your logos, photos, or copy. Standard "your stuff is yours" policy.

Ownership & cancellation

What happens if I cancel?+

The site comes down at the end of the billing period you've already paid for. We're upfront about that — your monthly pays for hosting and ongoing service. You keep your domain (you own it) and your content; you can take both elsewhere.

Do I own the design?+

You own your content (logos, copy, images). The hosted version is part of the service, not a license. Pro tier includes export options on request.

Can I take the site with me?+

You can take the content. The architecture, hosting, and ongoing service are part of what you're paying for monthly — when that ends, the site does too. Pro tier customers can pay a one-time export fee for the static HTML.

What if you go out of business?+

You always own your domain. Worst-case, you'd transfer DNS to a new host, and we'd give you 90 days notice + a static export of your site contents. We hope to never do this — but the plan exists.

Edits & ongoing service

How do I request an edit?+

Reply to your launch email, or any subsequent email from us. We work in plain text — text us a sentence about what to change, attach a photo if needed, done.

How long do edits take?+

Starter: within 48 hours. Growth: within 24 hours, often same-day. Outages or "something's broken" — ASAP, always.

Are there limits on edits?+

No daily limit. We do flag if you're asking for, say, fifty edits a week — at that point we'd move you to Growth or talk about a Pro tier. But normal businesses don't hit that.

Can I edit it myself?+

Not directly — that's the whole point. You shouldn't have to learn a page builder. If you really want hands-on control, Pro tier ships with a small admin panel.

Domains & hosting

Do I need a domain already?+

No. Bring one (we'll set up DNS) or use a temporary subdomain we provide. We can also point you to a registrar — we don't resell domains.

Where is hosting?+

Cloudflare-fronted, with origin servers in the US. Your site is served from edge nodes worldwide, fast.

Do you support custom email?+

We don't host email — but we recommend Google Workspace or Fastmail and we'll set up DNS records to point your domain at them.

What about SSL?+

Free, automatic, always on. We use Let's Encrypt via Cloudflare. Renewals are handled — you'll never see an expired-cert error.

Migrations & complex needs

Can you migrate my existing site?+

Most of the time, yes. Migration is included as long as your existing site fits within your tier's page limit. Submit the form and we'll let you know within a day.

What about a custom integration (Stripe, Calendly, Mailchimp)?+

Common ones (Stripe payments, Calendly bookings, Mailchimp / ConvertKit / Beehiiv signups, Tally / Typeform forms) are included. Anything custom is Pro tier.

Can you build a store?+

Small product catalogs (5–25 items) on Growth tier. Larger stores or anything with inventory management we recommend Shopify and we'll build the marketing site to feed into it.

Multi-language?+

Pro tier only. We do up to 4 languages with proper SEO setup.
